Excellent sounding and powerful Adcom GFA-555 Mark 2 Stereo Amplifier. This amplifier was designed by Nelson Pass and is still considered by many as the best amp that Adcom has produced. It has a huge toroidal transformer, huge power supply with large capacitance, discrete bipolar output transistors, high dynamic headroom, high current, low impedance stability and an impressive detailed, natural, involving, transparent, smooth and musical sound. This amplifier very conservatively rated at 200 wpc and will almostl double that into lower impedences, a testament to its excellent power supply. It is always been in a non smoking, well cared for environment. The original box and manual are long gone(the manual can be downloaded free off line). I will box better than the original box for safe delivery. It is nice cosmetically, a few small nicks on the top and one small scratch on the top that I touched up with a black magic marker-nothing serious at all. It sounds excellent, is quiet, works perfectly and is ready to go. The free insured shipping is by UPS Ground Insured in the lower 48 states. Better get this excellent amp.
