This is a well regarded Benz Micro MC Gold model moving coil phono cartridge. This is a low to medium output type - 20 ohms internal impedance and 0.4mV output so you will certainly need some sort of MC transformer or head amplifier if your preamp doesn't have a MC/MM option. As new condition but it does have quite a few hours on it already so it is not a new cartridge. But certainly still in good usable condition if you want to put off the retip for a while. (I normally retip or replace cartridges after 600-800 hours even though manufacturers quote 2000 hours life on a stylus - so nothing I am selling will be totally worn out.
