In this No Reserve Auction is a Pair of Vintage JBL 4312 Studio Monitors. JBL Monitors were (and still are) some of the most widely used Speakers in professional applications. During these Speakers' era, JBL's were used in nearly 75% of all Recording Studios in the U.S. Being JBL's were heavily chosen by professionals then, makes them the obvious choice of professionals and audiophiles alike, 'til this very day. With their adjustable Mid & High Frequency Controls, these Monitors can easily be tailored to accurately reproduce all sorts of music! There are a lot of speakers which claim to be "Monitors". Well, there's a difference between being "called" and actually "Being"... These Speakers have earned and deserve their title. These Studio Monitors are in great condition. Cosmetically, the photos are very accurate; but for the record: The Grill Cloths are a bit stained and frayed, one Mid-Range's dust-cover is slightly dented and the Resin (used on the Woofers' cloth surrounds) has dripped to the bottom of the speakers. This (resin drip) is common with nearly all vintage speakers of this caliber. It has no effect on their excellent sound. Sonically, they perform flawlessly. Each Driver and both Crossovers work excellent. It really doesn't get much better than this! These Vintage Monitors will be safely packaged and shipped promptly.
