Marantz 2252B Vintage Stereo Receiver Strong!!! Plays well!! Great Sound!! 52 watts per channel, into 8 ohms. A great unit for any room!! This unit has that classic Marantz sound, deep powerful bass, strong midrange, and crisp high frequencies. Faceplate very good (9.4/10) Slight marks on face and top and bottom edge. All corners in good shape. Dial glass very good. Very fine scratches from cleaning. Faceplate, dial glass, tuning scale and chassis cleaned inside and out. All original knobs, original feet!! All panel lights work, meters work, dial pointer light works, stereo indicator replaced, function indicator lamps work. Panel lamps replaced! All inputs work--Phono 1, Phono 2. Tape 1 In/Out, Tape 2 In/Out, Aux. Power supply voltage set to factory specifications, as well as DC offset and Forward bias on the Power Amplifiers. OEM OUTPUT TRANSISTORS!! Connections for two sets of speakers. FM reception is excellent, AM reception is very good. Cabinet very good. Light marks here and there. Electronically everything works fine. Controls opereate quietly and correctly. All controls and switches cleaned with De-Ox-It. As with any electronic unit of this age, this item is sold AS-IS, but guaranteed not DOA. Not D.O.A. means that the unit is guaranteed to power on, but NO GUARANTEE is made as to the performance of the unit, due to the possibility of damage during shipment.
