I purchased this amp used on Ebay in June 2005. Unfortunately, it was not packed correctly and when I received the amp, the front glass panel was broken, the lower panel lamps didn't work, and four of the six meter lamps were burned out. Otherwise, the rest of the amp was undamaged. The shipper did not stand behind the transaction and I ended up using the amp for a couple of years in this condition. When I took it out of service, it was running fine, ran cool, and sounded great. I picked up many of the parts to repair it, including a new glass face, lower panel lamps (already installed), and a used meter bezel with new double-back adhesive tape. The owners manual, service manual, and some related documents are also included in this auction; the original carton is not included. Also, two of the three lamps in each meter are burned out and will need to be replaced (information about replacing these lamps can be found at Audiokarma.org). Also included is a used front glass that can serve as a template for the preparation of the new glass for installation. The blue meter lenses are included but will need to be mounted. To make sure everything arrives safely, I will divide the shipment into two containers. The first carton will contain the glass panel, frame, frame brackets, bezel, blue lenses, circular felts (for switches), and double stick tape; the second carton will contain the amp and manuals. I am a very experienced shipper and the utmost care will be used to ensure your amplifier will arrive intact and as promised.
