PINK TRIANGLE LPT TURNTABLE: MINT CONDITION & VERY RARE Picture(s) and Description:

An absolutely beautiful Pink Triangle LPT Turntable with Rega RB250 type arm This superb Pink Triangle LPT Belt drive turntable is in stunning condition. It has been carefully stored and unused for many years. I cannot fault the condition of this LPT and would describe it as mint in all respects. With the famous Pink Triangle tinted lid and heavy weight acrylic platter this LPT looks absolutely stunning, it is partnered with what I believe is a Rega RB250 arm which is in mint condition with free bearings and perfect wiring. Of course the arm can be replaced if desired. This is such an excellent and original match that I felt it right to sell this LPT/Arm complete. The high quality bearing is perfect – silent and smooth, due to its weight the platter takes a few seconds to come up to speed and then settles at a perfect 33rpm or 45 rpm. Speed selection, either 33 rpm or 45 rpm is via the front rotary knob. Pink Triangle were regarded as a Linn Sondek LP12 competitor, in my view the quality of workmanship on the LPT is much higher and the performance (sound of the LPT) exceptional. I have used this LPT with a top quality Ortofon MC30 Supreme cartridge and have been really impressed. Some Pink Triangle models had a reputation for having slightly unreliable electronics. The LPT clearly addresses this with a much more straightforward and reliable motor and speed control system. I do not recall seeing an LPT for sale on eBay and this is a very rare opportunity to acquire a stunning looking mint turntable of high build quality and brilliant performance.
