Rating 8.5/10 for the bottoms being mounted on spikes and the speakers being 10 years old. These monitors are about as good as it gets. I love them dearly, I just don't spend time with them like I used to be able to. Go to Google to read up on the virtues of this speaker, and come back to buy them. Adult owned since I purchased them in 2000. Yew Wood was a $500 upgrade at the time. I'll pay for expert packing. I've been doing this a while. Read my feedback. Now its successor, the Response Two ‘S’, raises the game yet again. This new model is more than just a facelift of the original; a combination of new bass driver, cabinet redesign and a redeveloped crossover network has resulted in greatly improved levels of sonic performance.
