As eBay cancelled my listing (?), the LS3/5a are now re-listed. Sorry for the previous bidders and good luck ! Up for auction is this pair (2) of the legendary Rogers LS3/5a monitor speakers - finished in walnut veneer. This pair with serial numbers 16692A/B (matched pairs) are in excellent condition, and are acoustically perfect. They were only used as bedroom room-distributed monitors. Never used for parties or studio monitoring. Only private use at low volume level. They have some light surface marks and some stain marks to the veneer (see pictures), but no damaged edges or deep scratches as usually found for vintage speakers. Overall a beautiful glossy finish. The grills are in perfect condition, both with original badges. All the drive units are perfect and undamaged. The LS3/5a sound is so highly rated and with good reason. The soundstage produced from a speaker of this size is incredible. The detail that comes through is so clear and precise, just one of the many reasons why it has been adopted into countless professional recording and listening environments. This is the very rare 15 Ohm SO model, ideal to combine with old tube amps from the 60s or 70s for example. Worldwide shipping or local pickup in NYC.
