VINTAGE PIONEER SX1250 AM/FM STEREO RECEIVER GREAT CONDITION Picture(s) and Description:

Top of the line Pioneer SX1250 AM/FM stereo receiver from the mid '70's in very good condition(please see photos). This monster is conservatively rated at 160 watts per channel and features two very good phono sections; an excellent fm tuner section; and a very good am tuner. My favorite cd's thru the aux. sound great -as one would expect from the top of the SX series. I picked this up several years back from the original owner(a fellow co-worker at the time) who had bought it new with the graduation money he received upon graduating from house school. He used it sparingly as he had spent all his money on it and had none left over for a good pair of speakers -it didn't get much use. I am fortunate enough(in this late stage of my life) to have some high end separates and only use the unit in a secondary system -so it hasn't seen much use from myself either. Before listing the unit, I have been using it for the last two weeks in my main system driving my custom tower speakers. The sound is great and all functions are working properly -the lucky winner will not be disappointed. Being a vintage piece of electronics, the receiver is being sold "as is" -but guaranteed not to be D.O.A. Due to the size & weight, buyer pays $85 for shipping via ups insured to a street address.
