This auction is for a Japanese made Wavac PR-T1 pre amplifier. Probably the finest line level pre-amplifier made. (And certainly the most superbly built and one of the most expensive!) This item is a little over 1 year old. We have had this preamp in our posession for a few months now and demo'd it to several groups including friends and members of the Melbourne Audio Club. It has been universally received as a superb sounding unit and unsurpassed by any preamp we have heard. This item is in excellent condition. It is completely original and standard including the tubes except that the power supply connecting cables have been replaced with shorter (70cm) cables made from 10amp rated OFC industrial grad cables with military spec connectors. These make a neater package when the unit is installed in a shelf system and may offer a small sonic improvement over standard. This item is in perfect working order.
